Drama Perpetuates the Economic Downturn

My stepmom and I were just discussing this over dinner last week. This economic downturn has much more to do with human psychology and breaking a cycle around it than it does stimulating anything. The news (TV and Radio) are so dramatic that it perpetuates the psychological problem while doing nothing to inform or address the issues.

I found an example of what non-dramatic reporting would look like.  The blogger, Russell Roberts, takes an AP story and edits it to make it informative without the drama, but leaves his edits visible so you can see the head games being played on you by the mainstream media.

Have a look.  It's pretty insightful.
