Starbucks and the iPhone - A Great Marriage

I went to Starbucks this morning and brought a pad of paper and a pencil so I could get a little sketching done for work.  While I was sitting there, I heard a couple great songs.  Just wanted to give props to this feature if you have an iPhone, you'll love it.

First, all Starbucks provide free Wi-Fi to iPhone users.  This means you can launch the iTunes store from inside the store.  When you do it, you'll get a special icon at the top that says "Starbucks".  Tap on it, and you can see what song is playing in the Starbucks you're sitting in right now plus a history of the last 10-20 songs that have played.  You can tap the buy now button and it's yours.

There is an ooooold rap song from Too Short called the "Players Club" (Sorry I can't link to it...not on the iTunes store).  Anyway, there's a bass line in that song that is awesome and I've never been able to figure out where it was from.  The source song came on this morning at Starbucks and I bought it.  It's called "You Wish" by a group called Nightmares on Wax.

Dig it.
