I went to the dog park tonight and there were about 10 dogs there. As Kisho rolled around on the ground and played with all the dogs, one of them wouldn't play. He just stood in the middle of the ruckus with all these dogs playing around him and barked. When other dogs got close enough, he tried to mount them.
I suddenly thought, I feel sorry for this dog. Then I realized he's a lot like my boss. My boss yells all the time, often for no reason, and he's always trying to show his dominance but everyone ignores him. It's like other people - just like the dogs today - sense that there's something not right about this creature and give it space.
Perhaps there's treasure here in terms of learning to tolerate him.
