I have no expectations that politics will be 100% honest. Everyone knows that politicians have been taking advantage of the ignorance, laziness, and busyness of the American voter since the beginning of our republic. But several factors have converged and reached new highs for the 2012 election: The media seems to be split between those who want ratings and those who are too cowardly to ask tough questions (and not take lies as answers) and Americans are too wrapped up in confirmation bias to notice. Mitt Romney seems to be breaking new ground in American politics with his willingness to lie and to lie when confronted about the lie. This article does a nice job of exploring the issue. This is the place to come to follow the chronicles of my journey through life. You'll find observations of events (both good and bad) with me pondering who I choose to be in relation to those events. This is also the place for me to record my motorcycle journeys. Hope you enjoy the ride!
