Gay Soldier Booed at Republican Debate

I am disgusted.  The armchair soldiers in the audience should boo this man to his face.  Did you see the arms on that dude?  Fucking cowards. The whole "sexual activity doesn't belong in the military" thing is BULLSHIT.  Just because gays can identify who they really are doesn't change the rules about sexual behavior.  It isn't "special privileges" it's the same rules that straights operate under.  FUCK this is frustrating to watch.  Social experiment?  Really?  An experiment that has been conducted and deemed successful in 21 other NATO countries before ours for many years now. Even the Republic of China permits it!  There's a reason that no one should google the word Santorum.

If there's a reason I'm disgusted with the GOP it's that it's become a blood sport WWF match where Obama losing is the most important thing - more important than doing the right thing for America.  Most of the candidates up there are pandering to a blood-thirsty crowd instead of fighting for good ideas.  This isn't about philosophy.  I can prove it.  Many of Obama's ideas came from Republicans.  As soon as he supports them, they don't.  If it was about philosophy, that would be the end of it.

A leader LEADS.  These people should be up there educating their "followers" instead of pandering to them.  People say Obama is a failed president, look at least the man leads.  If he didn't, he wouldn't have such a pissed off base on the left.  The fact that he rides the middle tells me he's, you know, trying to solve problems in this country.  I'm not saying he gets everything right, but really?  If that's your measure of success, he and every president we've ever had and ever will have will let you down.

Let's go through some GOP ideas presented at tonight's debate, shall we?

• Bachmann favors the abolition of all income taxes but not really.
• Santorum wants all public sector unions abolished.  Did you know that 75% of the increases in corporate profit margins since 2001 has come from depressed wages?  Those unions are the anti-Christ though, huh?
• Gingrich wants to abolish unemployment insurance?!?  Great idea!  Because we don't have enough soil-faced homeless people begging for money yet.
• Huntsman supports serious tax reform.  Great.  So does Obama.  Let's get going.
• Abolish the EPA!  Great idea.  Because wealthy business leaders have traditionally shown such great restraint when faced with the choice of spending money to keep the environment clean or pocketing more profit.
• Let's privatize Social Security.  It worked out so well for all the 401K owners when their retirements were tied to the stock market (which tanked 4% today) didn't it?
• Abolish the Dept of Education?  Awesome!  Let's have a bunch of dumbshit, dropout kids who can serve burgers for the Indian and Chinese owners of... everything.
