San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus

I went to see them tonight by myself. Doing something like this alone is always a growing experience for me. I have to overcome the challenges alone, sit by myself in some cases, and take my mind off of those facts and enjoy the experience. I really had a good time. As it turns out, it's a lot easier to get a good seat when you're a party of one. I was in the fourth row even though I was near the end of the line getting in. Perfectly positioned to fall in love with a bass singer. *sigh* What a smile he had. And he had a beard which I know you all are saying, "Sean? Are you ok? Let me get you a cold compress." He was still pretty young. Probably 25-28 but he just had a great smile and really nice eyes which were easy to make contact with during the show due to my proximity.

But it's all just scenery and it was fun. When I got out, Muni was out of service due to a mechanical problem forcing me to ride the bus back to the BART station from Castro. That turned out to be fateful. I found my next event on a banner on Market St... Phantom of the Opera is back in the city. I had no idea! And it's closing on the weekend of New Years so I don't have much time to work things out. I think tickets are down to onsee twosee's because I couldn't find 3 tickets together, but when I searched for one, a great seat popped right up. Looks like another solo event but for this one, I get to break out the sports jacket. Nice.
