A New Brother

Many of you know that I've often called Ian my little brother. I've known him since he was 14 (he's 25 now). Well, I'm proud to say that he'll be attending the New Warrior Training next weekend. I know he's nervous, but I also have high hopes that this will set him in the right direction. By no means is there only one "right" place in your life to go to NWTA, but Ian is certainly a prime candidate. He's confused, a bit scared of what's next, he feels a bit behind his peers in terms of life direction, and he's fresh out of a relationship. There are some men who will be in his boat there and they will all be among some very strong people. I know what he's about to undertake, and I can promise you that he will benefit from the experience.

As an aside, I'm finding myself looking forward to my i-group meetings each Monday. I wasn't sure if I would. I find that very comforting.
